Dodgers v Putney @ 17 May 2018

Chairman Hilary reports in brief on an historic victory for the Dodgers over a very strong Putney side last night:

Putney set us a total of 160 off their 20 overs, a result of some powerful hitting from them and some pretty mediocre fielding from us. We then proceeded to chase them down with a will, keeping up with the run rate almost all the way through. Great knocks from Tawhid, Captain NJ, Charlie, Bilal and ringer Scott (lent us by Putney) set us up for an incredibly tense final over, and we were left needing 2 off the last ball.

Many congratulations to Nitin for placing his shot so deftly between the fielders, and to Phil for getting back in his crease to win us the game!
