"The Warwick Dodgers" v St Andrews (Burgess Hill) - match report

There's a report of Sunday's match on the St Andrews website.

The most noteworthy aspect of the game (apart from TQ's exemplary captaincy) was Phil McB's maiden first class century. The only down side: because it was not for a recognised Dodgers team, Phil was denied the £10 laid on this eventuality by Benn the Book, and had to shell out liberally from his own pocket at the local boozer - which he did most gracefully.

Hear, hear...... a big congrats to McB on his maiden century - but what's that muttering I hear from Mrs McB about maidens and bowling overs.... (the old ones are still the best!!!)

Sorry to miss all the matches this year. Not sure what's worse, missing the cricket or the sausages at Parsons Green.
