John continued to contribute well with bat and ball without being quite as prolific as in some previous years. Continues to excel in his chosen career in the charitable sector and was recently promoted to Chief Executive of 'Send me money you pampered rich western bastards'.

Continues to be a thoroughly decent egg, doing good work for good causes - will hopefully continue to infuriate Rod by congratulating opposition batsmen on good shots.
