Player Profile - Peter Lee

There are no suitable superlatives to describe the contribution of our recently promoted Derby County fan. The highest compliment one can pay is that his competitive, argumentative, sniping from the sidelines approach means he could be mistaken for a Yorkshireman (were it not for the lager drinking). Peter had some good moments with the bat but his bowling continued to blow very hot and cold and greater consistency is needed.

Peter brought the Weekenders to Chiswick one sunny Sunday afternoon and a great time was had by all. We even signed up two of his players, albeit on a temporary basis.

By his standards, Peter W Lee Sr (as opposed to Peter W Lee Jr) had a quiet year with the bat. The main highlight (apart from his knock for the above-mentioned Weekenders) was an unbeaten 29 v Nomura for which he also won Man of the Match, aided no doubt by his tight endgame bowling performance.

Peter is affectionately known as FDSRP (Future Deputy Secretary to Rod Paterson) and works with the DfT "great and good". It is as yet unclear as to whether Peter's promotion will mean he's able to play more or less for the mighty Dodgers.
