Guy has two trademarks: an inability to play forward to any delivery and the ability to hit the top of the net when we're practising at The Oval... when he's bowling.Guy has a South African cousin (Guy van der Westhead) who replaces him sporadically. This year it was for his own invitational XI.
Guy received an OBE in 2006 but no-one knows what for.
Is not inclined to stand on ceremony despite his SCS grade and OBE and is happy to be addressed as Guv, Gaffer or Boss by his grateful teammates.
