Belair Park
20 overs (25 retirement, 2 runs for wide/no ball and no extra ball except last over)
6pm
Bright & Sunny
Toss: Dodgers only had 6 to start with so by agreement batted first
Dodgers 158 for 4 (Shimoga (NJ) 28* of 18, Dollin 27* of 23 & Carr 19* of 19) Beat Tilberg regents 142 for 6 (Sultan 2/14, Shimoga (NJ) 1/10 & Khalid 1/30) of 19 & Khalid 26* of 31) by 1 run
MOM: Shimoga (NJ) 5, Carr 2, Khalid 2, Sultan 1 & Dollin 1
Dodgers were only 6 to start with at 6pm as 5 players delayed few working late and few coming from another afternoon game from Malden. Finally had our 11 by 7pm, we did well in getting 11 after 4 dropouts on the day, thanks to Dollin.
By agreement Dodgers batted first on an unpredictable Belair Park wicket with the small boundaries and put up a decent score. Tilberg started very strongly reaching 70 in 8 overs, thought they would finish the game in 15th overs. Then the main bowlers Shimoga (NJ) & Sultan entered and runs started drying up, in the end they needed 30 runs of 4 overs and managed to get only 14 runs. Dodgers needed this winning boost after the shambles in Sunday & Tuesday games.
